The 2003 USAC Triple Crown champion has posted some legendary "Alphabet Soup" drives at the Chili Bowl including an "H" to "D" run of 58 positions gained in 2003 and then an "F" Main rally to third in the championship feature event a year later worth 69 positions gained.

The '07 Chili Bowl runner-up spent the bulk of another season among NASCAR's elite ranks before finishing out the 2008 campaign in open wheel action, collecting a win in the USAC Midget portion of Eldora Speedway's Four Crown Nationals on September 20.

J.J. fields his own entry in this year's pursuit of the Golden Driller.
