Among the most consistent Chili Bowl performers in recent years, Tracy carries a string of six consecutive Chili Bowl top-ten runs into the 2010 edition after missing out on a second Golden Driller by just one position last January.

The 2005 Chili Bowl king, a USAC Silver Crown champion in 2000 and USAC Sprint Car champ in 2002, ranked among the top ten in all three USAC National divisions in 2009 (third in Silver Crown, fourth in Sprint Cars and seventh in Midgets).

After winning a Chili Bowl prelim to kick off the 2009 season, Tracy added a Midget win in Knoxville Raceway's King Doodlebug Classic in June along with a pair of Sprint Car scores on the pavement at Winchester and Salem.

Tracy rejoins forces with the same Wilke Pak team that he captured a Golden Driller for in 2005.
