Danny Stratton ran a varied Midget schedule in 2007, posting 22 top-ten finishes in 42 feature starts, ranking eighth in Badger points and tenth in USAC National points.  Stratton scored three wins over the course of the season, including a Western States win at Bakersfield on March 24, a Badger win at Antigo, WI, on July 7 and a USAC National win in the McCool Junction preliminary on July 24.  Stratton caught the eye of Chili Bowl fans in his first attempt in 2004 by racing through the alphabet to finish seventh in the feature and always provides his share of highlights.
