Making the move to the stock car ranks as part of the Roush Fenway development program, Little Ricky narrowly missed out on the 2008 ARCA/ReMax series title.  After posting a pair of wins and ten top-tens, Ricky settled for a close fourth in points after a tangle in the season finale nixed a shot at the title.

Ricky mixed in a few open wheel starts as well, including a third-place showing in Knoxville Raceway's King Doodlebug Classic on June 20, a third and two fourth-place finishes in USAC Silver Crown action and a winged Sprint Car win in Benton, MO, on July 11.
