A 2007-2008 NASCAR Drive for Diversity candidate, the 18-year-old ranked fourth in Ford Focus Midget points at Grays Harbor (WA) Raceway Park points by finishing among the top-five in all seven events, including feature wins on May 12 and September 15.  Samantha finished off the 2007 season with a pair of American Sprint Car Series Rebel Region starts at Tampa's East Bay Raceway Park in November.
