Jon Stanbrough sets his sights on the Golden Driller coming off a season that included "only" 14 triumphs after posting win totals of 30 and 21 the previous two years.  Along the way to recording double-digit wins for the fifth time in six seasons, Jon added another KISS (King of Indiana Sprint Series) championship helmet to the mantel as he reeled off 13 overall wingless Sprint Car wins throughout Indiana.  Jon later picked off his first Midget win (to go along with 125+ career Sprint Car feature wins) with a paved indoor score at the Ohio Coliseum on November 1.

Among the potent stable of Loyet entries, Jon tries to run his string of Chili Bowl championship main event starts to five in a row after a career-best Chili Bowl run of 5th last year.
