Shane dusts off the driving gear once a year to compete in the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, making his fifth consecutive start since 2005 after a hiatus of eleven years.  A 1986 NCRA champion who finished third and fifth in World of Outlaws points in 1982 and ‘83 respectively, Shane ran fourth in the inaugural edition of the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in 1987.
