The only
driver in Chili Bowl history to win on
four occasions (no other driver has more
than two Chili Bowl triumphs), Swindell
returns for a shot at number five after
missing the last two editions.
In his
most recent Chili Bowl outing (2003), the
three-time World of Outlaws champion
turned in a thrilling performance on
Saturday by advancing from an
"E" Main all the way up to
second in the “A” Feature before being
sidelined by driveline problems.
Competing
in selected Sprint Car events in 2005,
Swindell racked up a half dozen wins,
including four WoO triumphs.
