The 15-year-old posted seven top-ten feature finishes in his first year of wingless Sprint Car competition, making half his starts at Lawrenceburg (IN) Speedway.  Ricky's top finish on the season with a fifth-place run on June 9, with a strong seventh-place finish in September's Dick Gaines Memorial, also at Lawrenceburg.
