The veteran Micro shoe successfully made his Midget debut at the 2007 Chili Bowl, racing his way out of Tuesday's Pre-Qualifier with a third place finish.  Mixing in Micro and Midget starts in 2007, Tony finished among the top ten in five of seven Midget starts and earned a starting berth in Knoxville's King Doodlebug preliminary event.
