After recording runner-up showings in both the Sprint Car and Midget ranks on the West Coast, the 22-year-old migrated to the Midwest in the latter part of the '08 season and recorded a pair of September top-five runs at Lincoln Park and Gas City before winding up the season with a fourth-place Turkey Night finish at Irwindale.
