Last Call for Chili Bowl Ticket Renewals

(May 20, 2009) – Master procrastinators,
your time has come as only two days remain
to renew tickets for the 24th
Annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals
presented by General Tire at the QuikTrip
Center's Tulsa Expo Raceway.
Tickets must be renewed by the
close of business on Friday, May 22, lest
they be released into the overflowing pool
of new orders.
Tickets for all five nights of
Midget racing competition atop the ¼-mile
indoor clay oval are available for $211,
with tickets for four nights (Wednesday
through Saturday) just $185 apiece.
A $1 per ticket handling charge is
applied if paying by credit card.
The 24th edition of
the prestigious event that attracts top
competitors from all variety of
motorsports to Tulsa, OK, each year is set
for January 12-16, 2010.

The 2008 version of the Chili
Bowl drew a record count of 281
competitors with Tennessee's Sammy
Swindell capturing an unprecedented fifth
Golden Driller trophy.
Swindell is one of just four
drivers to earn multiple Chili Bowl
triumphs, with Tony Stewart, Cory Kruseman
and Dan Boorse each posting two event
wins.
Another dozen drivers have claimed
one Chili Bowl triumph including Damion
Gardner, Tim McCreadie, Tracy Hines, Jay
Drake, Billy Boat, Donnie Beechler, Andy
Hillenburg, Dave Blaney, Lealand
McSpadden,
Jon Heydenreich, Scott Hatton and Rich
Vogler.
