Bowl Tickets Already In Demand

– The 22nd Annual Dodge Chili
Bowl Nationals has been in the books for
less than a month now, but the thousands
upon thousands of fans that pack the
QuikTrip Center at the Tulsa State
Fairgrounds are already making
arrangements for the next edition of the
Chili Bowl.
Tickets
for the 23rd Annual Chili Bowl
Nationals, which will take place atop the
Tulsa Expo Raceway clay oval on January
13-17, 2009, went on sale Friday, February
1.
And
the phone lines have been buzzing as a
result, with existing ticket holders
rushing to keep their same seats for next
year along with new orders in hopes of
getting a seat for the prestigious racing
event.
Tickets
can be ordered in increments of
four-nights (which includes the Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday qualifying events
along with Saturday's championship feature
events) or five nights (which also
includes Tuesday night's Pre-Qualifying
event).
Four-night
tickets are available for $189, with
five-night tickets available for $216.

Ticket
holders from the 2008 edition of the Chili
Bowl Nationals have until June 1 to renew
ticket orders.
After
the June 1 renewal deadline, any available
seats will be allotted to new ticket
orders on a first-come, first-served
basis.
On
January 12, California native Damion
Gardner topped the 22nd Annual
50-lap Chili Bowl championship
"A" Feature event to top a
record field of 274 competitors, becoming
the event's 16th different
feature winner in the process.
Gardner
joined a prestigious list of past Chili
Bowl champions that includes four-time
winner Sammy Swindell, two-time winners
Tony Stewart, Cory Kruseman and Dan Boorse,
and one-time winners Tim McCreadie, Tracy
Hines, Jay Drake, Billy Boat, Donnie
Beechler, Andy Hillenburg, Dave Blaney,
Lealand McSpadden, Jon Heydenreich, Scott
Hatton and Rich Vogler.
