A busy slate of wingless Sprint Car action and Champ Car action found Mat ranked fifth in USAC Silver Crown points and tenth in the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits TNT Midwest Swing.  Neely scored an MSCS Sprint win at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN, on May 6.  After racing his way into his first Chili Bowl championship main event to kick off the 2007 season, Mat posted 24 top-ten feature finishes in 55 overall starts.
