The 20-year-old ranked third in USAC Western States Midget points, with his first career Midget feature win at Altamont Raceway Park in Tracy, CA, on June 16 tops amongst his seven top-five finishes.  Matt also finished sixth in the Midget portion of Eldora Speedway's Four Crown Nationals in September.
