The DIRT Modified and Late Model ace shocked the open wheel world with his Chili Bowl triumph in 2006, a year in which Tim went on to capture the World of Outlaws Late Model championship.

Tim returns after his 2009 Chili Bowl was cut short after a rear axle broke as he was leading his Wednesday night qualifying race, launching him out of the track.  While the injuries sidelined him for a good portion of the 2009 season, Tim bounced back in true championship form by winning the WoO Late Model feature at New York's Canandaigua Speedway on June 23 in just his fourth time back on the track.

Tim went on to win another pair of Late Model events including a $20,000 score in the Volunteer Speedway's Scorcher 100 and then a small block modified win at Hagerstown's Octoberfest 350.

Tim posted top-ten finishes in his initial three Chili Bowl attempts.
