Son of Sammy, the younger Swindell swept McCool Junction's Cornhusker Midget Challenge at the end of July, topped the return of wingless Sprint Cars to Calistoga to close out August and finished out the season with a sweep of Manzanita Speedway's USAC Western World Classic in November.

Kevin vies for a second consecutive Chili Bowl main event after mixing it up among the front runners last year.
