Kasey Kahne makes another run at the coveted Golden Driller trophy after putting the wraps on his sixth year of competition on the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit.  The 2004 Cup Rookie of the Year, Kasey has compiled eleven career Cup wins, 7 top-fives and 14 top-tens including 2009 triumphs at Infineon and Atlanta.  Kahne made the Chase and finished out the season ranked tenth in points, earning $5.7 million along the way. 

A grad of the open wheel ranks, both winged and wingless, Kasey has mixed in another nine open wheel feature starts since last year's Chili Bowl with top-five winged Sprint Car showings at Eldora and Williams Grove the best of six top-tens.  Kasey also took on the USAC Midget ranks at Las Vegas in February.

The winner of back-to-back Belleville Midget Nationals titles in 2000 and 2001 and the 2000 USAC Midget championship, Kasey will try to add a Chili Bowl triumph to his resume.
