Kasey Kahne makes another run at the coveted Golden Driller trophy after putting the wraps on his fifth year of competition on the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit.  The 2004 Cup Rookie of the Year, Kasey has compiled nine wins, 35 top-fives and 63 top-tens in five years on the nation's top circuit.  Two of Kasey's wins came during the 2008 season, including a triumph in the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

A grad of the open wheel ranks, both winged and wingless, Kasey mixed in several open wheel starts including a runner-up USAC Midget finish at O'Reilly Raceway Park on July 24 and finishes of 18th, ninth and fifth in the three legs of the Ollie's Sprint Car Challenge at Sharon, Eldora and Williams Grove.

The winner of back-to-back Belleville Midget Nationals titles in 2000 and 2001 and the 2000 USAC Midget championship, Kasey will try to add a Chili Bowl triumph to his resume.
