After winning the USAC Midget championship in 2005 and then the USAC Sprint Car title in 2006, Josh's 2007 efforts were focused on the asphalt as part of the Michael Waltrip Racing team.  Josh made a dozen ARCA/ReMax starts along with nine NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts and one NASCAR Busch Series event.

Wise also found time to mix in a couple of dozen open wheel appearances over the year, taking USAC/CRA Sprint Car honors at Las Vegas in March, Kokomo Midget accolades in May and then sweeping the two-night Midget card at Dodge City, KS, in July.

The two-time Belleville Midget Nationals champion (2003 and 2006) takes aim at his first Golden Driller in January.
