Racking up more than 200 overall wins since beginning his racing career at the age of six, the 17-year-old Hendrick was one of three teen-aged drivers to make the cut for the 2007 Chili Bowl championship main event.

The talented young racer mixed in four Midget feature starts with his Micro schedule in 2007, snaring a sixth-place POWRi finish at Belle Clair Speedway on May 5.
