Thursday: 2nd in Heat 7; 10th in Qualifier 3; 14th in B Main 2

Saturday: 1st in F Main 1; 4th in E Main 1; 3rd in D Main 1; 12th in C Main 1

The 21-year-old ranked second in both USAC National Sprint Car and Midget points in 2007, amassing 33 top-fives and 49 top-tens in 76 overall feature starts.  Darren picked off a pair of USAC/CRA Sprint Car feature wins with victory drives at Perris (Feb. 3) and Las Vegas (Oct. 27), while topping Knoxville King Doodlebug preliminary Midget feature on June 23.  Darren also snared runner-up honors in both the Sprint Car and Midget portions of Manzanita Speedway's Copper on the Dirt in February while later posting a fourth-place run in the Belleville Midget Nationals.

Darren shoots for his first Chili Bowl finale after last year's alphabet run that began in "F" Main action ran out of steam several rungs later in his "C" Main.
