The 2006 ASCS Sooner Region champion took to the World of Outlaws Sprint Car trail in 2007, ranking 19th in final points.  Sam mixed in few other starts along the way, picking up a feature win at U.S. 36 Raceway in Cameron, MO, on June 8 and earning a top-ten finish in I-30 Speedway's Short Track Nationals.
