After a New Zealand win in January and an Australian victory in February, Davey added a pair of stateside triumphs in the form of a USAC Midget Week score at Bloomington Speedway (August 8) and a Badger beating at Angell Park Speedway (August 17).

A Chili Bowl preliminary feature winner in 2007, Davey guns for a third consecutive Chili Bowl championship main event start after ranking seventh in Badger points.
