After becoming the 16th different winner in Chili Bowl Midget Nationals history last January, "The Demon" tries to become the first driver to ever record back-to-back Chili Bowl triumphs in the 2009 edition.

The 2008 season that followed his memorable victory drive to Chili Bowl glory included 46 wingless Sprint Car starts with another half dozen victories along the way.  Four scores came on Indiana soil at North Vernon, Gas City, Lawrenceburg and Kokomo before closing out the season with a pair of West coast triumphs at Perris Auto Speedway, including the Jack Kindoll Classic.

After ranking tenth in USAC Sprint Car points and seventh in Sprint Bandits TNT Midwest Swing points, Damion teams with Daryl Saucier in his defense of the Chili Bowl throne.
