Michelle won three features in the carbureted Champ Sprint Car ranks en route to becoming the first female champion in the 53-year history of Oklahoma City's State Fair Speedway.  Pulling double duty, Michelle also posted a pair of wins in the injected Super Sprint Car ranks to finish fifth in points.

Michelle also ventured to the left coast for a weekend, finishing fourth in BCRA Midget competition at Kings Speedway on September 26.
