Topping two Micro divisions at the Tulsa Shootout, both of which featured over 100 entries, opened the door to a Keith Kunz Midget for the 2007 Chili Bowl.  And the thrid-generation racer took full advantage of his first ride in a full-sized Midget, locking himself into Saturday's championship main event via a fourth-place qualifying night finish and then wrapping up the weekend with a strong fifth-place run on Saturday night.

Donnie went on to post another half-dozen top-five finishes in 2007, including an SMRS Midget win at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, MO, on May 28, en route to ranking second in series points.

Donnie teams up with Gary Taylor and Sam Hafertepe, Jr., aboard one of three Tel-Star Communications entries for his second Chili Bowl try.
