Ready for his second Chili Bowl, this time teamed with fellow 17-year-old Jonathan Hendrick, Matt made the move from the Micro ranks to American Sprint Car Series competition in 2007.  The top finishes among Matt's half-dozen top-tens were a fifth-place ASCS Sooner Region outing at Lawton Speedway (Sept. 8), a sixth-place showing in Cowtown Speedway's November Sprint Shootout (Nov. 10) and a seventh-place finish in ASCS Speedweek action at Little Rock's I-30 Speedway (July 14).
