After opening the 2008 season with his fourth top-ten Chili Bowl finish in as many championship feature starts, Shane went on to win the Sprint Car portion of Manzanita Speedway's Copper on the Dirt in February and then Anderson Speedway's $30,000-to-win Little 500 in May.

Other '08 wins included a pair of Gas City scores, including one in USAC action, as "The Throttle" ranked seventh in USAC Sprint Car points.

A 2007 Qualifying night winner at the Chili Bowl, Shane tries to reel in the Golden Driller in January.
