Bryan Clauson gears up for his first start on dirt in well over a year after spending the 2007 season getting his feet wet in the upper echelons of stock car racing.

Making the jump from the Sprint Car and Midget ranks, the 18-year-old made a half-dozen ARCA/ReMax starts in 2007, finishing among the top five on four occasions with his first series triumph coming at Gateway International Raceway on August 31.  Bryan then closed out the '07 season with a handful of NASCAR Busch series starts.

Bryan did manage to mix in some open wheel action as well in 2007.  Sticking solely to the asphalt, Bryan picked off four Midget wins, including three in USAC National competition.
