After scoring an ASCS Canyon Region win at Casa Grande's Central Arizona Raceway on May 12, the 15-year-old spent some time gaining valuable experience in the Midwest before hitting the Sprint Bandits TNT August swing.  The son of the 1997 Chili Bowl champion finished off the season with a pair of Arizona Midget Racing Association feature wins at Manzanita.  Chad posted ten top-fives and 19 top-tens in 38 Sprint Car feature starts to go along with four top-fives and six top-tens in ten Midget starts in 2007.
