A three-time Chili Bowl championship main event starter, Steve split his time between the Midget ranks and Central Pennsylvania Sprint Car competition in 2008.  A third-place run on August 1 at Williams Grove was his top Sprint Car finish after a pair of top-fives to open the year in New Zealand.

In the Midget ranks, Steve reached victory lane six times in 22 feature starts during the 2008 season.  Five of those triumphs came in ARDC action with the sixth taking place at Indiana's Union County Speedway.
