After
ranking as the top finishing rookie at
last year's Chili Bowl Nationals, Brad
excelled in his first full season in the
Midget racing ranks by sweeping both
nights of Knoxville's Midget Nationals,
topping the prestigious Belleville Midget
Nationals, winning the Lawrenceburg
Speedway leg of USAC Midget week and
reaching victory lane in both of the
opening two nights of Tri-City Speedway's
Gold Crown Nationals.
Already a
noted Sprint Car gasser, Brad captured his
first Sprint Car win for the Kasey Kahne
team at Eldora's Four Crown Nationals.
And, to
put an exclamation point on his
versatility, Brad swept two nights of
winged Sprint Car action at Silver Dollar
Speedway over the Fourth
of July weekend and was later crowned the
champion of Thunderbowl Speedway's Trophy
Cup in Tulare, CA, in October.
Ranked
third in USAC Midget points and eighth in
Sprint Car points, Brad posted a total of
nine wins, 28 top-fives and 45 top-tens in
75 feature starts.
