The versatile racer will likely be among the top contenders for Rookie of the Year honors at the 2008 edition of the Chili Bowl as he joins forces with the Kasey Kahne Racing team.

Sweet's versatility is reflected in his three feature wins in 2007, which included a winged Sprint Car triumph in Golden State action at Kings Speedway on March 16, a wingless Sprint Car win at Kokomo (IN) Speedway on July 1 and a USAC Western States Midget victory at Bakersfield on September 15.

Overall, Sweet posted 24 top-fives and 41 top-tens in 73 feature starts in 2007, with other top runs including a runner-up finish in Indiana Midget Week action at Gas City and a third-place finish in Silver Dollar Speedway's $50,000-to-win Gold Cup.
