After top-ten finishes in three of his first four Midget feature starts of 2007, including a fifth-place AMRA run at Manzanita in March, the 17-year-old's season was interrupted by a neck injury sustained in a late May Sprint Car crash.  Darrin returned four months later for several late season starts, including an eighth place Manzy run on October 20.
