The ace Midgeteer enjoyed a banner 2009 season that culminated with the USAC National Midget championship along with the POWRi Midget crown.

Kuhn opened the 2009 season with his second consecutive Chili Bowl preliminary main event victory, adding another seven wins along the way including POWRi's Junction Motor Speedway Cornhusker Nationals, a USAC Midget Week win at Bloomington and Ventura Raceway's J.W. Mitchell Classic.

Following on the heels of a season that netted 41 top-fives and 53 top-tens in 66 feature starts, Kuhn sets his sights on chasing down the Golden Driller after a career best Chili Bowl finish of third in 2009.  Kuhn has made the Chili Bowl championship feature cut over each of the past four years.
