After a Chili Bowl preliminary win and a New Zealand win at Springs Speedway to open the 2008 season, Brad added a USAC Western States win at Bakersfield and then a pair of USAC National wins in August in the form of a Midget Week triumph at Gas City and then an Angell Park score.  

After piling up 23 top-fives and 30 top-tens in 49 overall Midget feature starts, the two-time Badger Midget champion shoots for a fourth consecutive Chili Bowl championship main event.
