Josh Wise
completed a strong 2005 season by
finishing among the top five in all three
of USAC's premier national touring
divisions.
Wise
captured his first USAC championship by
winning the Midget title and narrowly
missed out on the USAC Silver Crown
championship as well, finishing a close
second in the chase. Wise also
finished fifth in USAC's National
Sprint Car points.
Five of
Wise's six '05 feature wins came in
Midget action at Powercom (5/7), Toledo
(7/8), the Milwaukee Mile (7/23), Granite City
(8/24) and Orlando Speedworld (12/2). Wise also
posted a Silver Crown victory at Terre
Haute in the Sumar Classic on June 4.
After
starting his first Chili Bowl finale in
2004, Wise tried to make the difficult
climb from a Saturday "F" Main
in '05. Wise climbed two rungs
before running out of steam.
Wise
joins forces with Jerry Russell and the
Eagle Chassis team for the '06 edition of
the Chili Bowl.
