Tries to become the first back-to-back winner in Chili Bowl history after giving the Wilke-Pak Motorsports team its first Golden Driller winner's trophy in the '05 edition of the event.

Tracy started 23 of 25 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in 2005, with a fifth-place showing at Richmond on September 8 his best of the year.  Tracy also mixed enough open wheel starts to rank tenth in USAC National Sprint Car points, with a triumph at Bloomington Indiana during Sprintweek one of his two Sprint wins.  Tracy also took Silver Crown honors at DuQuoin on September 4, just one night after taking the MARA Midget feature at Macon.

With seven Chili Bowl feature starts in nine attempts, other top ten runs for Tracy have included fifth (2000), eighth (1999) and ninth (2004)
