Tracy Hines continues to rank among the nation's top non-wing shoes, ranking in the top three in each of USAC's National divisions in 2003.  Hines finished a close second to J.J. Yeley in Midget points and finished third in both the Sprint Car and USAC Weld Racing Silver Crown final standings.

Hines reeled off six wins in USAC Midget action, including triumphs at Irwindale, Granite City, Eagle, Mansfield, Joliet and Tucson.  Hines scored another four feature wins in Sprint Car competition at Fremont, Pike's Peak, Terre Haute and Farmer City.  Although shut out of victory lane in the Silver Crown wars, Hines posted nine top five finishes in eleven events.

Hines will be seeking his sixth Chili Bowl main event start and his first taste of Chili Bowl glory.
