#25 - Jon Stanbrough (Jamestown, IN)

1st Chili Bowl Appearance

Jon Stanbrough enjoyed a stellar season in 2003, piling up 18 non-wing Sprint Car feature wins.  Stanbrough topped the USAC Sprint Car series at Eldora on June 21 and Lawrenceburg on July 24, ultimately finishing ninth in USAC Sprint Car points.

Stanbrough reeled off seven wins at Kokomo Speedway en route to the track championship.  Other victory lane trips in 2003 included three at both Gas City I-69 Speedway and Montpelier Motor Speedway, with a pair of wins at Lincoln Park Speedway and one triumph at Bloomington.

Stanbrough's 2003 efforts have been rewarded with his first trip to the Chili Bowl.  Stanbourgh will join forces with Venture Racing for his first Chili Bowl venture.
