Among the West Coast's wingless sprint car aces, Spencer ranked fifth in USAC/CRA '05 points...Recorded 14 top-fives and 21 top-tens in 35 starts, including runner-up showings at Perris Auto Speedway on August 6 and October 1 as well as during prelim action at Manzanita's Western World Classic on November 10...Took the checkered flag in his first taste of Chili Bowl competition by topping a Wednesday night heat in '05 before missing Saturday's main by just a few positions.
