Open
wheel racing veteran Jimmy Sills makes one
of his few racing appearances of the year at
the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.
The
three-time USAC Silver Crown champion spends
most of his time playing the role of
"Professor" at the Jimmy Sills
School of Open Wheel Racing in Marysville,
CA.
With
countless Sprint Car, Midget and Silver
Crown feature triumphs over the course of
his thirty-year career, Sills competes in
a selected few racing events each
year. Sills led much of the way
before finishing second in his preliminary
feature at the Chili Bowl Nationals to
kick off 2003, then topped the Master's
Classic at Knoxville Raceway on May 30.
Sills
will once again team with Murray Erickson
for the 2004 O'Reilly Chili Bowl Nationals
as he tries to extend his perfect record
of qualifying for the main event in each
of his first four Chili Bowl appearances.
