Johnny Rodriguez finished eighth in USAC Western States Midget points in 2003, while also finishing eleventh in BCRA points despite running a limited slate of BCRA events.

Rodriguez notched seven top-ten feature finishes in 2003, including a runner-up finish in BCRA/USAC Western States action at Madera on September 20.
