Will Have Copies of Book On Hand for Purchase

Marie Osborne, TULSA, Okla. (January 4, 2008) – National Sprint Car Hall of Fame sprint car driver Doug Wolfgang is scheduled to visit with fans at the 2008 Dodge Chili Bowl Midget Nationals with two scheduled appearances at the QuickTrip Center, formerly known as the Expo Center.

Wolfgang will make the trip to Tulsa from his Sioux Falls, South Dakota home to sign copies of his autobiography, Lone Wolf . The book was released in August 2007 and has become one of the most critically-acclaimed motorsports books in recent memory.

Wolfgang, along with Lone Wolf co-author Dave Argabright, will appear at the Sprint Car & Midget Magazine booth on Thursday and Friday afternoon from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The booth is located on the main walkway leading to the main grandstand seating area.

"It's been a while since I've been to the Chili Bowl, and I'm looking forward to the trip," said Wolfgang. "I know I'll probably run into a lot of old friends, and that's one of the things that makes the Chili Bowl special, it's a gathering of racing people from all over the country."

The initial printing of Lone Wolf is nearly sold out, and plans for the second printing are underway. A small allotment of books was set aside for the Tulsa signings, and books will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
