A regular front-runner in the Sprint Car ranks, Montgomery posted four feature wins in 2003 at St. Francois Co. Speedway in Farmington, MO, including the October 4 Queen's Royale.  Montgomery also ran enough Midget events to rank 12th in MARA points, scoring a win at Belle Claire Speedway on July 27.

Montgomery missed the Chili Bowl main event by just two positions in his first Chili Bowl start in 2003.  Montgomery returns aboard the Brent and Peggy Nausley-owned Midget aiming for a position in the starting grid for this year's Chili Bowl main event.
