Very few drivers can boast a Chili Bowl Nationals history as strong as that of Sprint Car star Danny Lasoski.

Lasoski will be back in 2004, shooting for his 12th main event start.  Only Sammy Swindell and Kevin Doty have started more Chili Bowl main events.  While victory lane at the Chili Bowl has eluded Lasoski thus far, he has posted seven top-ten finishes including a pair of runner-up showings.

Lasoski enjoyed another successful season on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car circuit in 2003, battling for the championship with Steve Kinser down to the wire before settling for second in final points.  Lasoski, the 2001 WoO champion, piled up sixteen feature victories overall this season, including his third Knoxville Nationals title.

Lasoski will once again be behind the wheel of one of Jerry Russell's Eagles as he ranks among the favorites for the 18th Annual O'Reilly Chili Bowl Midget Nationals title.
