Colorado's Luke Icke was virtually unknown entering the 2003 Chili Bowl.  Icke made a strong impression though, locking himself into Saturday night's finale by virtue of his third place finish in Thursday's qualifying feature.  Icke ran well throughout the main event until mechanical problems sidelined him in the latter stages.

Icke made only a couple of additional starts in 2003, finishing second and fifth at Eagle Raceway on May 23-24.

Icke will be on hand for the 2004 edition of the O'Reilly Chili Bowl Nationals aboard the lone John Singer-powered mount.
