Since winning the second annual Chili Bowl in 1988, Scott Hatton has continued to rank among the nation's upper echelon of Midgeteers.

Hatton kicked off the 2003 season by making a long awaited trip to victory lane in Chili Bowl action when he topped Thursday night's qualifying action.  Hatton then battled among the top ten throughout Saturday night's finale before recording a fifth place finish, his best run since placing sixth in 1993.

Hatton, the 2000 Badger Midget champion, went on to finish third in BMARA points in 2003, scoring wins at Pecatonica (IL) and Angell Park (WI) along the way.

Hatton will be back for another shot at a second Chili Bowl victory aboard the Huston Solutions #15x in January.
