Gary Wright capped off yet another spectacular season in the Sprint Car ranks by collecting $21,000 for winning his third Short Track Nationals crown at Little Rock’s I-30 Speedway.  A nine-time NCRA champion, Wright pursued the O’Reilly ASCS National title and fell just 12 points short when the final checkered flag flew.  Among Wright’s 22 feature victories in 2003 were 15 on the O’Reilly ASCS National Tour, extending his series’ best win total to 76.  Wright, who has also scored wins in World of Outlaws and All-Star competition during his career, sits atop the NCRA career win list as well with 73.

Wright joins forces with Stuart Campbell and Rick Wright for his ninth Chili Bowl outing.
